A Partnering Approach Paves the Way for New Development in Maple Grove, Enclave Breaks Ground on Norheim Townhomes

The vibrant city of Maple Grove will offer a new, thoughtfully designed Scandinavian townhome development blending modern living and suburban charm. Norheim Townhomes will be located at 17425 101st Avenue North, near the intersection of I-94 and Highway 610.

The joint venture between Enclave and Nörsq Companies will bring 155 townhomes spanning 22 buildings, complete with a pickleball court, pool, playground and amenity-filled community clubhouse. Construction on the multi-phase development is underway and will continue through early 2025.

"The product type, aesthetic and variety of on-site conveniences are complemented by an ideal location that will attract a diverse range of residents, from young professionals to families and empty nesters seeking a new standard for contemporary living," said Jeff Koch, CEO & Founder of Plymouth-based Nörsq Companies.

The building's design integrates seamlessly with the community while being marked by minimalist design principles that are both spacious and welcoming. It’s a vision that’s been brought to life through a collaboration with architect partners, Practic Design & Kaas Wilson.

"Enclave and Nörsq aligned on investment fundamentals based on a well-researched product in a resilient location that’s attractive to a large share of the population, driving further value through an uncompromising approach to design and experience.”

Josh Wilcox, President of Development and Investments at Enclave

Enclave and Nörsq Companies bring a wealth of experience in multifamily development and real estate investing.

Norheim Townhomes is Enclave's second development in Maple Grove. The West Fargo-based company operates an office in St. Louis Park and has completed over 15 developments across the Twin Cities metro since 2019, solidifying its position as one of the region’s 10 largest real estate developers, as ranked by the Twin Cities Business Journal.

Their success is rooted in a unified team, with in-house development, construction and management working as one to cultivate partner, team and community success. Enclave will act as co-developer, general contractor and property manager on the Norheim Townhome project.

Jeff Koch founded Nörsq Companies in 2022, after spending 10 years as Co-Owner of another multifamily real estate firm. During his 10 years of ownership, Jeff led the firm from its humble beginnings with a 40-unit apartment building to developing over 68 multifamily communities, comprising over 9,400 units and a development value of over $2 billion.

"This is an exciting time for Nörsq Companies - orchestrating teams of investors, architects and partners to bring to life one-of-a-kind, build-to-rent spaces that leave a lasting mark on the communities we serve is both a privilege and a passion,” said Koch.
